The Woman: Texan Nicole Brundage has an extensive educational background (Stanford, Parsons The New School for Design and the San Francisco Academy of Arts College) and just as impressive work experience (she interned for the A/X Armani Exchange/Armani Jeans design team and the Zac Posen design team). In 2004, she launched her own line of women's luxury shoes.
The Buzz: Brundage's shoes have been highlighted in publications such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
Defining Style: Sexy yet coy.
Spring '08: The opulent court of Louis XIV meets Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: grandiose bows, heels printed with garlands of flowers, candy-like twists, quilted uppers, large buckles and braided detailing with neutral elegant aristocratic colours.
The Recipe: Elements sourced from vintage stores, mixed with Brundage's personal touch, create a retro style comprising exquisitely superfluous details.
Colour Palette: Mouthwatering colours such as fuchsia, violet and platinum.
