Travis Walker for Glamour Campaign

Spring 2008

Home Base: Los Angeles

The Company: Glamour Campaign, founded by Fred Naggar in February 2007, took off immediately with its sexy sophisticated clothing.

The Artist-in-Residence: Travis Walker. This motorcycle enthusiast started his own company, Double Cross, in 1996, now famous for its dark, edgy rock 'n' roll-inspired jewelry.

The Association: With Naggar designing custom pieces for such rock stars as The Black Eyed Peas and with Walker's loyal celebrity and motorcycle-group followings, it was a given that the complementary aesthetics of the two artists would result in a larger-than-life collection. Walker's jewelry, leatherwork and print design are the perfect match to Glamour Campaign's designs.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side: Walker's well-known skull motif is featured in prints, with barbwire, hearts and crosses also dominating the collection. And sterling-silver-plated hardware is everywhere.

The Denim Fashion Group: Part of the collection, this grouping consists of motorcycle jackets, denim blazers and trousers. Available in Canada exclusively at Holt Renfrew.
